Drag fishing
Towing fishing requires fast boats carrying fishermen, supplemented by electric reels. When the boat is moving at high speed, the angler holds the fishing rod and drags a special fishing group, such as thick line, hook and "plane" float, so it is called drag fishing.
Fishing is often known as a refreshing and healthy activity. In the ancient Chinese paintings which pay attention to "freehand brushwork", fishermen are often arranged in the deep mountains and pools surrounded by smoke and on the river which looks like a mirror. By this movement, the overall quiet and distant atmosphere can be set off.
However, when fishing is combined with the words of strength, speed and wildness, will it be disharmonious? No, drag fishing is the perfect combination.
Drag fishing is a fishing method that drags the fishing gear and bait across the shallow water at the speed of the ship, and drags the large fish swimming fast on the surface of the water.
The boat moves at different speeds according to the different speed of the target. One man sails the boat and one holds the pole. Put the fishing team into the water to attract the big guy to take the bait. The main objects of towing fishing are tuna, shark, swordfish, mackerel, tuna, skipjack, etc. the methods are basically the same, but the use of boats, fishing rods, hooks, lines and baits have their own characteristics. For swordfish and tuna, which are ferocious and big, special speedboats and fishing gear are needed.
Towing fishing has rod, wheel, line, hook, and some auxiliary fishing tools such as "aircraft" (a common name for floaters), twist ring and so on. The fishing rod should be thicker and stronger than the ordinary sea rod, and it should be able to bear the pulling force of more than 50 kg. The rear part of the pole body is made of metal, which is consistent with the concave cowhide base which is tied with a belt at the waist, so as to facilitate the force operation when guiding and walking.
The model of winding wheel is also large. Generally, double bearing drum winding wheel is selected. Its diameter should be more than 15cm, and it can hold nylon line with tension of more than 50kg as fishing line, with a length of about 1000m. The fishing line is mostly composed of bus and sub line. Nylon line is used as bus and steel wire is used as sub line. The length of sub line is about 3-3.5 meters. The hook is usually a large round fish hook with a diameter of more than 3 mm, a hook height of 10 cm and a long barb. In order to connect the threads easily, the circular hook handle is often used.
Tuna trawling
Tuna is a kind of pelagic fish, which generally lives in the middle and upper layers of the sea, and likes to cluster in the "current compartment" at the junction of different currents. Tuna feeds on minnows, herring, pomfret, ink, squid, krill and cephalopods. It can swim at a speed of 45 kilometers per hour, grow to 3.5 meters long and weigh 700 kg. Drag fishing is a common method of spearfish fishing, which is from the era of sea fishing.
In the separation of the ocean or the Kuroshio Current area, the water temperature is generally above 14 ℃, where there are groups of seabirds flying low on the sea, there are often tuna activities.
The baits used for spearfish fishing are usually imitated baits. The shape of the bait is mainly from squid, sardine, saury. The feather hooks of birds, chickens and ducks are also good.
After selecting a good fishing spot, slow down the boat and sail at a constant speed. Throw the bait into the water behind the boat and set out about 100 meters. At this time, the bait will jump up and down on the water, pulling out a string of spray. As soon as the tuna finds the bait, it will chase after it. It will swallow the bait and dive into the water quickly. At this time, the fisherman should stop the winding wheel slightly and release the fishing line at the same time. When the line speed slows down after 200 meters of setting out, we should seize the opportunity and stop it suddenly. When the frightened tuna runs again, we should release and stop it again. After the tuna is exhausted, it can be pulled close to the boat and captured with the help of ropes, colors and nets.
